| My husband and I have had custody of his nephew for 11 years. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old. We were aware of the alchol and drug abuse from the beginning but knew nothing about FAE or FAS until we tried to get SSI for him to pay for private schooling. He was diagnosed here in Cincinnati, O with FAE and ADHD. Can you direct me to any possible grants he would be eligible for to pay for his private education. The public school system here in Cincinnati really does not have programs or support for children with FAE. We like the school he has been in for the past 3 1/2 years but cannot afford. He is functional but has the other "things" that other FAE kids have. You can appreciate a child that looks disable. But when I child looks normal but acts 5 years younger than their age, it is beyond frustrating. Please advise. Nice site! Thank you. Eve Mayes |

| Do you know a doctor in Seattle or in Edmonds or in Lynwood who can get me a neurosyycological evaluatin for fae? I already heve an appointment at the Uww Fetal Alcohol resource center and they have an appointment i can go to november14 but They need the evaluation first. they told me that i dont have to get a mir though. thank you .
